UNITED STATES DISC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
In an effort to bring best disc golfers together, the USDGC combines all players who qualify into a single division. Virtually every other disc golf tournament in the world offers divisions based on age, gender and skill level.
USDGC overview
All current, dues-paid members in good standing of the Professional Disc Golf Association are eligible to qualify for the 2024 United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC). The USDGC is a PDGA Major, therefore all competitors must have a current PDGA membership and must have passed the PDGA Official certification exam in order to compete. Those gaining USDGC eligibility should register for the event as quickly as possible.
Qualifying for the tournament
All previous United States Disc Golf Champions receive an automatic invitation to the 2024 USDGC:
Special Invitations
- 2024 United States Masters Champion (MP40)
- 2024 Masters World Champion (MP40)
- 2024 United States Amateur Champion (MA1)
- 2024 Amateur World Champion (MA1)
- 2024 Deaf National Champion (MPO)
- 2024 College Disc Golf National Champion (Men’s Singles)
Monday Qualifying
Individual qualifying rounds will take place at Winthrop on Monday, October 7, 2024. Each of the 5 lowest rounds will earn the right to compete in the 2024 USDGC. Only 5 spots are available. A sudden-death playoff will resolve ties if necessary.
A PDGA membership is not required to participate. Those who qualify for the USDGC on Monday must be current PDGA members and must pass the PDGA Officials Exam prior to Thursday’s opening round. Both of these steps can be taken in advance of Monday Qualifying at www.pdga.com.
